The Untappd Model Context Protocol Server is a node-based application that enables users to query the Untappd API, providing functionalities such as beer searches and detailed information retrieval. However, registration for new API keys has been halted by Untappd.
Untappd Model Context Protocol Server
This project is a Model Context Protocol server created using node for interacting with the Untappd API, though new API registrations are currently not possible. It includes three primary tools:
- Search for a beer.
- Get detailed information about a beer.
- Retrieve user check-ins (currently non-functional).
Development
- Install dependencies and build the server using npm commands.
- Utilize the MCP Inspector for debugging with standard I/O.
Installation
Configuration is required for usage with Claude Desktop on MacOS or Windows systems.
