MCP Minecraft Remote is a tool to control a Minecraft player using an AI assistant, enabling remote server connections. It allows navigation, interaction, and communication within the Minecraft world through advanced control features.

This project is inspired by mcp-minecraft by arjunkmrm. While the original only supported local Minecraft server connections, this project was newly created from scratch to add support for connecting to remote Minecraft servers.
Features
- Connect to and control a Minecraft player via an AI assistant

Usage
- Use with Claude Desktop by adding the Minecraft Remote MCP configuration to the configuration file
- Requires Minecraft server with
online-mode=falsefor connection without authentication
Requirements
- Node.js 18+
- An AI assistant that supports MCP
- Minecraft Java Edition server (version 1.8 or later)
